Temples in Goa  - Places of Worship

Like most Hindu temples in India, temples in Goa are based on some deity that is worshiped. Architecture of Goan temples is a bit ‘different, especially for historical reasons. Focused on the design of a Hindu temple is organized around the central shrine housing the main deity. Tower or “Shikari” is due to the shrine and is traditionally pyramidal shaped.
